Homecooked dinner

FINALLY.....got out for a surf today,it wasn't epic but having endured "months" of 6-8 ft SW swell and howling off shores it was soooo good albeit a little strange to have the wind blowing another direction.

Got home in time to have a bite to eat and Keiko and I curled up in front of the TV to just "VEG OUT" until we had to pick up Mana.

Mana came home and after she did all her chores we went out for a bike ride.

On our return we decided to dig some of our new potatoes for dinner where K set about rustling up a culinary delight.

I got some Snapper off the crew of "Zefiro" last night some Lettuce off Bob (up the road) Potatoes from our own garden and Keiko's homemade bread the only thing that we brought were the Tomatoes and the the tomato sauce.......that Mana "insisted" we have on our thinly sliced potatos/chips....... and of course the Bombay gin and lemonade hehe

And how Japanese/Kiwi is this...... Mana was eating grilled Snapper with Soya sauce and using Hashii she then got a piece of bread chucked in some potatos with tomato sauce!
