Here I come ready or not

Was unemployed for 2 days and thats long enough.

"Smaller company.....bigger heart" ohhhh that sounds like a sales pitch :)

Can't believe that its been a year since I wrote on this blog......its not that I didn't have anything to write about it been more about Ive had other things on my mind.....and now that Ive hopefully sorted it out Ill have more time to concentrate on myself and (more importantly) my beautiful family :)

I quit my job at Johnston's Coachlines today!!
As some of you maybe aware life at JCL has not gone smoothly since the take over 2 years ago and try as I have it just became too much for me.

It was one of the hardest things I've had to do and with limited options
1.Stay and slowly die from the inside
2.Leave
3.Read about me in a eye witness account "Yeah he parked the bus up,calmly walked to his car and returned with a 12 gauge shotgun......that's when the shooting started"

I thought better to leave.

I didn't realise but the stress at my job (which I thought I was dealing with and not bringing home) was really effecting Keiko and Mana too so when Mana climbed into bed with us the other night and asked if I was ok and I said "Yeah I'm fine" and she said "but you are always sad so I am sad too......." that was it for me.
We asked her the next morning if she wanted me to stop working there and she said without any hesitation "Mmmmm yup "

Like I sad it was a very difficult decision for me and the hardest part was the realization that over the last 15 years at Scenic I have worked,met (and became life long friends) with some of the most "awesome-ist" people from here and overseas.
